I hope you have all had a lovely long weekend with your families and friends. It’s not often we get a forced break such as this and I feel it is important to make the most out of these moments!
It gives me great pleasure to write our first newsletter to update you all on our lab and the services we are providing.
Our team of technicians has grown to 5 full time technicians with Amie being the latest addition to our ceramics division. We have also continued to further improve our implant planning protocols with more refinements and improvements being made to our stackable surgical guides. Sohaib has been leading this to try to make implant planning and guide manufacture as predictable and stress free as possible for dentists. The feedback we have received thus far from dentists is that they are easy to seat and the magnets provide that extra bit of security during the drilling.
We have also achieved DAMAS status within 4 months of being open at our new site. This is a very proud achievement for our team. It is a testament to the state of the art laboratory that we have designed for us to get DAMAS status so quickly.
At Dentogenics we have been using Smilecloud since the very early days when it was founded. We are leading the way for Smilecloud in the UK and Sohaib has been lecturing and demonstrating Smilecloud to the dental community. He was in France last week presenting Smilecloud to the dentists at the Anthogyr headquarters in Salanches. We are proud to be holding the first ever ‘hands-on’ Smilecloud course in the UK at our laboratory on Friday April 26th. The 1-day course will show you how you can use Smilecloud to it’s full potential and get a guaranteed increase in patient acceptance of your larger treatment plans – along with making your lab workflow simpler and more predictable. We believe this is a game changer for both Practices and Labs. The feedback from our dentists is that they are achieving higher conversions for their treatments due to using Smilelcoud.
